

I was fortunate enough to collaborate with Joe Kocik and Catherine Grothe, two incredibly talented Twin Cities’ designers, on the re-branding of the National Museum of Iceland.
The decision to keep the identity in the native language was made early on, which inspired the design concept of making the “old”, new again. We broke down a traditional Icelandic pattern to a single element and incorporated that element through each instance of the identity, from signage to stocking caps.
